So, there are handicapped toilets and parking spaces and doorways being used by people with disabilities. I know it's weird, but there it is.yanubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16216993058216698199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6233625.post-52912985915378487302009-04-14T22:17:00.000+01:002009-04-14T22:17:00.000+01:00Wow, the crap people have to go through.

And it annoys me that people think that walking is SO much better than using a wheelchair when you have a physical disability. It's not. At least, not for all people. Oh well.Cara Liebowitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11860032209178249016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6233625.post-20363070021671924072009-04-11T23:05:00.000+01:002009-04-11T23:05:00.000+01:00I do hate the mobility vs. wheelchair thing. It's...I do hate the mobility vs. wheelchair thing. It's so unimaginative - and fantastically arrogant, when you are actually telling them how it is for you.

The one I've always seemed to have a problem with is the idea that using a wheelchair when I do doesn't actually decrease the amount of exercise I get. I either have the wheelchair or I don't go out. This seems a fairly simple concept to me, but hey.

As for magazines in waiting rooms, the Pain Clinic seems to have a vast collection of Weddings magazines - which are awful, full of lots and lots of pictures of the same dress. Though not so bad as at my last Incap. medical, where all that was on offer to us impoverished sick folk were a selection of "Horse & Hound".The Goldfishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15213378454070776331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6233625.post-69909161114632121992009-04-11T21:48:00.000+01:002009-04-11T21:48:00.000+01:00Yes, you're right.
